                          The Government higher Secondary School Banderdewa (AFFILIATION NO. - 2220194 , SCHOOL CODE- 37441, UDISE NO.- 12040302001) was Established in 1977  and upgraded to Higher secondary school in 2025. It is managed by the Department of Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located in borderline of Arunachal and Assam state, Banderdewa under Doimukh Block of Ppumpare District of Arunachal Pradesh. The School consist of Grades from Class VI to Class XII. English is the medium of instructions in this school. The School is approachable by all; well connected  weather road. In this school academic session starts in April. The school have a Government building. The School has 7 classrooms for instructional purposes and 8 other rooms for other activities. All classrooms are in good condition.  The school also has separate rooms for Principal , Vice Principal  and staff room. There are 3 bathrooms for boys and girls respectively and 1 bathroom for faculty. The school have proper  internet, Electric and Water connection. It also have RO purifier and water chiller for students and staffs as Safe drinking water facilities. The school has 5 computers for teaching and learning purposes.
